What struck me most as a photographer was the shift from her first shoot 2.5 years prior to now.
The first time she was nervous, but curious about a photoshoot. She looked to me for direction. This time she was still a little nervous but she trusted the process more, spoke up when she had ideas, and that trust and confidence showed in her images.

The space, the light, the moment—it was all hers.

And then, just as we were into the rhythm of the session, her cat jumped in. A totally unexpected, hilarious, and somehow perfect addition to the experience. A surprise cameo that made a few frames even more personal and playful.

As someone who’s done hundreds of boudoir sessions, I can tell you: The second time hits different.
