You can even invite loved ones to join you — your partner, your mom, your kids. This experience is about capturing the full, multifaceted story of who you are.
And the planning can start right away! I’ll ask you to create a Pinterest board and invite me to collaborate. This helps me see the direction of your aesthetic — the wardrobe, lighting, and mood you’re drawn to. It’s simply a starting point, but it helps me start connecting the dots of your vision. We’ll go over your board together during your consultation to make sure I can bring it all to life.
Once you hit send, I’ll reply within 24 hours with a link to schedule your consultation over Zoom so we can start bringing your ideas to life.
Step 2: The Consultation — Discover Your Signature Portrait Style
During the consultation with your Austin, Texas women’s portrait photographer is where we meet face-to-face over Zoom and get to know each other. We’ll discuss the vibe you’re drawn to, dive into your visual inspiration board, explore your signature portrait style, and design a session that feels authentically you.

Step 3: Booking Your Photoshoot & Preparing for the Session
When you’re ready to book, I’ll send over your invoice and contract to secure your date. From there, we move into the fun part — planning and preparing.
Step 4: Prep & Planning — Your Luxury Portrait Experience Begins
You’ll receive a complete preparation guide that includes:
- A skin prep and makeup guide to help you glow naturally
- We will tighten up your Pinterest board.
- I will send a questionnaire to personalize your day.
- Wardrobe options and links tailored to your chosen genres
- A packing list for the day of your shoot
Whether you’re planning one theme or several, I’ll guide you through every step so the process feels easy and empowering.
Step 5: Shoot Day — Step Into Your Power
When you arrive at the studio or location, we’ll review wardrobe and talk through the flow of your session. I’ll cue up your favorite playlist to set the mood, then guide you through each pose with gentle direction and encouragement.
I’ll show you the back of the camera along the way — because seeing yourself through my lens is often the moment you realize, wow, I am a badass!
Before we wrap, I’ll ask, “Do you feel complete? Is there anything else you’d like to capture?” This ensures you leave feeling fully expressed and confident.
Step 6: The Photo Reveal — Relive the Magic
After the shoot, I upload your images (yes, I get just as excited as you do) and send a link to schedule your photo reveal over Zoom.
This is where you’ll see your unedited proofs, select your favorites, and choose your collection or wall art. From there, I begin the retouching process.
Please ensure all decision-makers are present for the photo reveal, as this is when we’ll finalize your image selections and confirm your artwork order.
Step 7: Editing & Delivery — Your Luxury Portraits Are Ready
Editing typically takes 3-6 weeks depending on the season. Once your gallery is ready, you’ll have seven days to review and request any small tweaks. After your final approval and contract signature, I send your order into production.
Your artwork ships from Ireland and Italy — because I believe your portraits deserve heirloom-quality craftsmanship.
Step 8: Product Reveal — Experience Your Portraits in Print
When your finished artwork arrives, we schedule your product reveal and pickup. This is one of my favorite moments: seeing your portraits in their printed glory. We laugh, cry, hug, and celebrate the version of you that showed up fully for this experience. By the way, if you purchase a wall art collection I offer complimentary installation in your home!
