I had no idea a photoshoot could be so healing and empowering
My son's birth was traumatic and I wanted to do a motherhood shoot to help capture some of the early moments we missed. Although it was such a vulnerable topic, Laura made me feel at ease during the whole shoot. Reviewing the final images really took my breath away. Not only do I have the beautiful photos with my son to cherish forever, it was also the first time I saw myself as a confident mother. My experience with Laura was really once in a lifetime.
I was super hesitant to book a shoot like this, I'm not a fan of being in front of the camera but her portfolio and positive, professional attitude sealed the deal and I signed up. Laura was communicative, helpful and motivating before we even met. The shoot itself was truly an experience, I felt totally at ease and Laura made it totally fun and easy going. She brought all the throwback jams, expertise and hype girl vibes for my photos I could ask for. She had ideas for the shoot I never would have tried but she really knew the right angles for the best pictures, and the location we picked was insane. Even freezing cold in the water I was having such a blast and rode that high for hours after. The photos came out great; she spent her time going over them with me and allowing me to pick my favorites with no rush.
